A few co-workers and I decided it would be a good idea to partake in the (Inter)National Bundt Cake Day on November 15th....
Four of us slaved away and produced some pretty sweet treats!
Check out the Food Librarian's blog for our entries. http://foodlibrarian.blogspot.com/2010/11/national-bundt-day-2010-round-up.html our post is a little more than half way down the line.
This was my submission: A chocolate chip bundt with caramelized pecans topped with a chocolate ganache.....made to look like a giant donut!!

Butter Brickle Pecan Cake...mmmmmmmm!!
My first ever attempt at a wedding cake...and it was a hit! The bottom cake was the butter brickle pecan, and the icing in between the layers was a roasted pecan cream cheese affair! Oh man this cake was good! The top layer was made of rice crispy square used to stabilize the water holders to keep the roses fresh. I hear the rice crispy squares were just as much of a hit than the cake! Congratulations Alexandra and Lance!
Chocolate Carrot Cake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing!!
I call it, Kathy's-night-before-moving-birthday cake!
Well the cake was not quite set, and a very fast drive across town to a friend's place for their birthday makes for a fun slanted cake!!
Regardless of what it looks like, this is a lick-your-chops-and-drool-it's-so-good kinda cake.

Blood Bowl Blockdice Cookies!!
These custom sugar cookies were made for a Blood Bowl tournament a few years back! I do make special order cookies, hand-cut at that!
Nothing exciting, just a gingerbread house...
I think this might have been a pre-fab at that...I know, I shouldn't have added it, but I just really liked the snowflakes!
